Every Shade of Kawaii かわいいにも色々ありまして — Crayon Rush Mix

“Kawaii” fades fast once you lock it into a single right answer. “Every Shade of Kawaii / かわいいにも色々ありまして — Crayon Rush Mix” is a track that takes the word back, over to the side of crying faces, bravado, and clumsiness.

A good morning with bedhead, a day when the smudges come out just right, a line you don't want to erase even though it went over the edge. In the lyrics, kawaii shows up not as a neat, tidy attribute but as a color that keeps multiplying, mistakes and misalignments included.

True to the name Crayon Rush Mix, the colors here are not mixed with care. Press hard. Layer too much. A little rough, running past the outlines, moving on to the next color before catching up with the speed. That roughness is what keeps this track's brightness in motion.

No name needed. Just go and meet a color you've never seen. Green is the sound of kawaii's range multiplying right in front of you.
