Orange is the color of inner heat spreading outward.
In “Synthetic Heart,” the heart sounds like a device. Not a living heartbeat. Yet it has warmth. Artificial, a little unstable, it keeps its heat while it glows.
Feeling doesn't reach anyone just by being pure. To reach someone, it changes shape. It gets synthesized. What was trembling inside grows a circuit that connects it to the outside.
Here, Mel:Chroma does not treat the artificial as fake. Instead, it takes it on as the conversion feeling needs in order to reach the world.
Orange is the color of Red's speed swelling outward. Even heat that was made becomes real the moment it touches someone.
