Red is not the color of catching fire. It is the color of gaining speed.
“Idol Acceleration” is the track placed at the starting point of NEON RHAPSODY. The idol here is not yet a finished image. She starts running before she is seen, and breaks free of her outline before she is named.
Even if an idol is made by someone else's gaze, that first impulse belongs to no one else.
Voice leaps before meaning. The electronics run not as decoration but as propulsion, and the melody sounds to push the whole body forward.
In this track, Mel:Chroma's kawaii takes off from sweetness. It stops being something to protect and becomes something that accelerates.
Red is not a beginning, but a speed that has already begun. The moment an idol gets an engine of her own.
