Afterglow is not the end.
“Afterglow Reprise” is the instrumental that closes NEON RHAPSODY. It needs no voice as words and no clear explanation.
After everything has passed, only color stays in the air. The outlines of what was sounding disappear, and in their place, only the traces glow quietly.
Red acceleration. Orange expansion. Yellow saturation. Green mutation. Blue cooling. Violet deepening. Pink overflow.
They don't vanish. They overlap, thin out, and become an iridescent afterglow. Afterglow is what remains of light that has passed, and at the same time a circuit waiting for the next beginning.
Reprise. Once more, from the start.
This eighth track is not an ending, but open space for returning to No.1.
NEON RHAPSODY ends in afterglow. And then, it begins again from Red.
