“fatal: love - Shattered Lens” は、“fatal: love” の脆さを、冷たく硬い機械の圧力へ変えたversionである。コード、記憶、欲望がぶつかり合い、恋が本物なのか、ただのエラーなのか分からなくなる。
原曲にあった悲しみは、ここでは金属的な質感をまとっている。優しく壊れるのではなく、衝撃で砕けていく。Violetは、深い痛みの色であると同時に、システムが暗くなる直前の警告灯のようにも見える。壊れながら、それでも愛そうとする音である。
